Indonesian Best Vanilla

One of the many natural resources found in Indonesia is vanilla beans, which are regarded as the highest quality in the world. Indonesia is a wealthy tropical nation. Fortunately Indonesia’s tropical climate is ideal for this plant’s growth, many farmers there are impatient for the lengthy harvest. Richland Hut is here to continue the mission of making Indonesian vanilla beans the best in the world. We only harvest vanilla beans that are truly perfect; as a standard, we only harvest after pollination and within 7 to 9 months to get the best quality of vanilla beans. Many farmers harvest in just 3 to 4 months, which lowers the quality of the beans.

Richland Hut planted vanilla planifolia and tahitensis on agricultural land on the islands of Java and Bali. Fertile soil factors combined with climate, temperature, and ideal humidity make our production always stable and guarantee the perfect growth of vanilla plants. Our land is between 400 and 700 meters above sea level, with an average annual temperature of 22 to 27 degrees Celsius. The rainfall and humidity from Indonesia are excellent, ranging from 2000 to 3000 mm with 80% humidity. The ideal amount of sunlight, between 35 and 55 percent, is what makes our land ideal for growing vanilla plants in Indonesia.

Because it contains a volatile molecule called vanillin, vanilla is one of the most expensive and popular spices in the world. It is typically used in a variety of cakes, drinks, fragrances, cosmetics, and aromatherapy. Vanilla also has a memorable and fragrant smell that can enhance the flavor and aroma of food. The high vanillin concentration qualifies vanilla as having superior quality. Additionally, p-hydroxy benzym metal ether and p-hydroxy benzaldehyde exist. Vanillin typically makes up the largest quantity (about 85%), followed by metal p-hydroxy benzene ether (1%), and p-hydroxy benzaldehyde (around 9%). The ripe vanilla fruit has an ideal balance of these chemical components. Young vanilla pods are green, whereas ripe pods have a green line on the surface and are nearly yellow in hue.

Vanilla Beans

Inside are tiny black seeds, similar to caviar, which we cook. To prepare the vanilla seeds, split the fruit and sift them with a knife tip.

Vanilla Extract
Vanilla essence, which is made in a similar way but not pristine because it contains a combination of chemicals, is available on the market. It is extracted from vanilla beans by soaking them in a solution of alcohol and water, which results in reddish-brown soaking water. When choosing a product, be cautious and carefully read the label and product description before making a purchase.

Dried / Powder Vanilla
Black and powdery, vanilla seeds are the result of being mashed and dried. However, use caution as many vanilla powders on the market are chemically manufactured and white in color.

Vanilla Planifolia

Due to the country’s higher temperatures and more tropical environment, which results in a greater quantity of vanilin, Indonesian vanilla is the best in the world, especially when it comes to gourmet or prime vanilla. increased moisture content, ideal for the extraction procedure.

Vanilla Tahitian
Compared to vanilla planifolia, it is smaller, plumper, and originated in Indonesia. It also has a significantly greater oil and water content. Vanilla from Tahiti has a mild scent of fruit and flowers. described as having a scent reminiscent of licorice, cherries, or wine. Pastry chefs love this vanilla because it has a strong floral aroma and fruity notes that are especially vivid and bold. It also has fruity, flowery, and sweet flavors produced by the chemical heliotropin. Its flavor is rich and complex.
